The SAT can sound quite scary, can’t it? When you think of the almost endless list of words you’ll have to memorize and the countless mathematical formulas you’ll have to learn, you start to get a bit nervous, even if you’re a great student, because you know that a top score could land you in the college of your dreams and a bad score, . . . well, we don’t even want to go there.

And to top it all off, the SAT people don’t even give you close to enough time to do all of those problems. It almost seems like they’re trying to make you panic. Well, exactly. They are trying to make you panic.

But, if you “know the ropes” and are willing to do some real studying, this test can be beaten. The same group of people write the test every year, and the same types of questions and vocabulary show up time after time. The key, then, is learning the types of questions these people like and their favorite vocabulary. This can be done in a matter of weeks, not years. With practice and hard work, your scores will skyrocket.
