To support students who are experiencing difficulties in their studies, Sprague HS will be offering a tutoring session, titled “Homework Club (HC),” after the regular school day, from 2:45 to 3:45, in the Library.

Process:

1. Students may be assigned to Homework Club by their teachers based on the following:
   • Not having completed assigned homework
   • Missing assignments
   • To take a test the student has missed by an excused absence.
2. The monitor of the HC will take attendance and report that attendance to the staff the following day.
3. For failure to serve the assigned HC session the teachers have the option to turn the student(s) into the Discipline office that day for punitive consequences, or consequence the students themselves.

The math department has arranged a study club for students who are missing assignments and need help with their math. A math teacher will be available in Room 161 from 2:45-3:45 on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons and Tuesday mornings from 7:15-7:45.

Homework Club and Math Study Club are available to all students who need to complete homework assignments. Accommodations will be made for all classes including science labs. Students do not have to be assigned to Homework Club to attend they can just show up in the Library. Parents can also email teachers and request that their student be assigned homework club.
