Computer Education Workshops
The purpose of these three
one-hour workshops is to assist WVI customers in the process of becoming more
computer literate. The three areas of focus include: Conquering the Internet;
Conquering E-Mail; and Conquering your PC. The courses are taught by local
educators with over 35 years cumulative experience in the area of computer applications. Classes are held at Sprague High School in room 128 in the computer lab. In this link you will find parking information.
To help our wvi clients deal
with the confusing jumble of computer terminology we have put together a list
of definitions for common computer terms that you can refer to. We will
try to add and update the list as we learn as well. Click on this <link>
to see what we have so far.
Webopedia.com
is a great website if you have questions about computer terminology. It
allows you to search for definitions that you type in. You should give
it a try.
